July 4th Wedding Fireworks

Monday, November 26th, 2012

I went to a most beautiful wedding last summer. The bride (an old school friend from way back) was beautiful, the groom was drop dead gorgeous, and the bridal party was decked out most eloquently and beautifully. I had realized that I hadn’t been to a wedding in over a decade, so it was nice to attend one and see how these events are all put together and be able to enjoy all the formalities as well as the festivities that go along with a nice formal wedding these days.

The bride had and used very good taste for this entire affair, like her choice of Wedding centerpieces and other decorations were just awesome. She was very proud of their choice of Tacori engagement rings, by JR Dunn, that they had picked out and purchased two years ago when their engagement was formally announced. And the wedding bands that they exchanged that day were fabulous, I have to say that I’m impressed.

Shortly after they had exchanged their vows, fireworks starting going off for the 4th of July celebration that was taking place in the city park right behind the church. What an awesome feature that really set the mood for the reception that was scheduled to start soon after everyone was done gazing at the show in that warm night’s cloudless sky. Now as for the reception, I’ll leave that story for another time!

Neighbors Wedding of The Century

Saturday, November 24th, 2012

The up and coming over the top wedding of the century that our neighbors are planning and preparing for is certainly keeping numerous local businesses busy as ever in their huge backyard, where the wedding and reception is going to be held. There is always some kind of activity going on over there all due to the big event. And it’s interesting to watch as all of this progresses. They are hoping that the weather doesn’t all of a sudden turn so bad that they can’t get it all done in time.

Yesterday they managed to finish installing artificial grass in the one area that I’m guessing is where the ceremony will be held. And today they had a couple of guys taking care of the landscape lighting installation that will look so awesome when it’s all said and done, which should be pretty soon. The “big” day is fast approaching and I’m so glad that I can stay inside in the nice warm house and watch those poor guys working ever so hard, day in and day out. And I’m glad that I have one of the Wedding invitations to the big day, it will be most interesting and entertaining as well.
