The last couple of weeks, my voice mail has gone crazy and is giving people that call me a very strange message that no one can figure out how it gone onto the darn thing. I finally found the paperwork, with the directions (it was in it’s file, of all places) on how to change the message and I spent a good amount of time figuring out how to use it and to make the message sound like a decent sounding message should. I always hate hearing my voice when I review the message, and find myself having to record it several times before dragging myself away from the phone and be content with what I had recorded.

I have always enjoyed taking a nice hot bath and if you can add some bubbles and give me a good book I will be most content with life.

It has been a long day around the house today, I spent most of the day doing house work and balancing my check book and I’m pretty well beat at this point and am looking forward to relaxing these aching bones and start my newest book by Jimmy Buffett entitled A Salty Piece of Land, I hear that he is not only an awesome song writer and singer but a pretty good author and has written several books, something that I was not aware of. If this one turns into a pretty good read, I’ll have to find his other titles at my favorite used book store that I find myself spending so much time at, but not spending much cash out, which is cool!

My best friend and I went totally ga ga over the book, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, way back in junior high school. We completely devoured that book in a matter of days, and were most pleased to find that in 8th grade English class that it was one of the required readings, which needed a book report done on completion. We knew we had it made it the shade for that one, and we did.

It was most unfortunate that when the movie came out that we were not happy with it one bit, the actors that they had picked for the parts were all wrong and they left out so very much that was awesome in the book, but we watched it anyway, for what it was worth.
