Assistance with Web Hosting

Friday, February 27th, 2009

My brother and I have been discussing windows web hosting, he has been talking about how the whole concept is basically the renting of space on someone else’s server, and that the person that you are renting this from needs to be reliable and be accessible 24/7 to your needs in order for your web-site to produce the best results. He has told me to go to a website called Webhostingrating.com, he recommends that anyone thinking of obtaining reliable web hosting needs to do some research and that this site has tons of beneficial information and will help you in rating host services. The ratings are based on 100% customer reviews, so they are a unbiased source.

A major concern that is addressed is how low costing web hosts are not always such a bad choice and that they are many things to look into other than the cost. This site has web-hosting specifications and tutorials to offer you in your search for the perfect web host that are useful and informational, my brother urges me to check out these tutorials, as he has recommended these to plenty of other folks that have really enjoyed using them and have learned a lot from them.

He hasn’t steered me wrong as of yet, so it looks like I have a bit of homework to do and I’m actually looking forward to it all.

The Outsiders Book

Saturday, February 21st, 2009

My best friend and I went totally ga ga over the book, The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton, way back in junior high school. We completely devoured that book in a matter of days, and were most pleased to find that in 8th grade English class that it was one of the required readings, which needed a book report done on completion. We new we had it made it the shade for that one, and we did.

It was most unfortunate that when the movie came out that we were not happy with it one bit, the actors that they had picked for the parts were all wrong and they left out so very much that was awesome in the book, but we watched it anyway, for what it was worth.

According to last night’s evening news, Coke showed a profit, while Pepsi lost money. Interesting to find that The Coca Cola company makes 80% of their sales, out of the United States. I prefer Pepsi myself, always have and always will.

The Buzz at Work

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

The buzz at work is that a few of the ladies have been supplementing their paychecks these days by writing blogs on the Internet for a company by the name of Snapbomb. With the price of gas and food and everything else, people are turning to having to supplement their paychecks and if you can make money legally on the Internet, I say more power to ya.This isn’t the first time that I have heard of this blog marketing concept and I need to check into a bit more. I think that if I believe that it is safe then I may start looking into this blog advertising business, I certainly could use some extra cash at this point, as most folks do. I seem to spend a lot of time on my computer at work and at home, so it would be easy enough to do for me to do as far as that is concerned. I rely on our PCs everyday for a variety of reasons, so it looks like I have some investigating to do.
